Our software is now used by over 325 North American service centers! Since the introduction of Bayern's original product, STEEL PLUS in 1985, pivotal changes have impacted the metal distribution industry. Throughout these changes, we have remained focused on a single goal: To be the world's #1 provider of integrated software for metal service centers, and to provide the best possible service to each and every one of our customers. Using a unique approach, Bayern has succeeded in bringing to market robust applications that work equally well for flat rolled products, plate, general line, structural products, tool steel, and specialty service centers. Of course, most software developers offer multiple versions of their software (one for flat rolled products, one for general line, etc.).
